Glock 40 Compact - I bought the G23 Gen 3 a few months ago and it has become by far my favorite firearm, and I own quite a few rifles. I also picked up a 9mm conversion barrel for it so I can fire 40 s&w or 9mm with it, and it's the perfect weapon to carry around or use as a ranged game. If you are considering the G19 I would think of going with the G23 and conversion barrel. This rifle can be converted to fire 4 different calibers (comes in 40 s&w, you can get a 9mm or .357 conversion barrel as well as a .22lr conversion kit). Great weapons all around! I highly recommend this firearm.
I like the Gen 4 grip better than the Gen 3. It feels more secure in the hand. Dimensions 23 are ideal for concealed carry, yet large enough to absorb recoil and provide a longer sight image. I also like the idea of a .357 Sig conversion barrel. In my opinion, the Glock is unbeatable.
Glock 40 Compact
I really despise Glocks. They were blocky and bulky pistols that did not fit in my hand. Recently my wife wanted one, we went to the store and I watched the clerk put the gen 4 in my hand and it felt like a glove. After a bit of research, I found out that they modeled the gen 4 after a 1911 grip, which I love the 1911 grip, but I also love how much I can customize the glock. So the 23 gen 4 is probably the last gun I buy until it breaks.
Glock 27 .40 S&w (pr45066)
The first Glock I ever owned and it was my #1 pistol to grab. Fast, smooth and reliable. I own many different Semi Autos from different manufacturers and this is by far the best photo I've been able to take. I'll be thorough with the spring and barrel kit, but even out of the box I get consistent 5" groups at 9-12 yards. Thanks.
I bought a Gen3 a few years ago. I love the gun to this day. I'd love to have a Gen 4 one day, but I haven't felt the need. I liked it for off-duty transportation when I was in law enforcement. They are not too bulky and still have a decent roundness. I would recommend it to just about anyone who wants to wear undercover.
I love it. I had a gen 5 G19, my friend convinced me to switch. EXACTLY THE SAME SIZE. Fits all my Glock 19 holsters with no issues. It can also fire 9mm. I think it's great!
I tried the Glock 23 and fell in love immediately, great gun and feels different. I was expecting a lot more recoil, but it's average for this caliber, it's a great gun. This is not my first Glock, I've had G17, G19, G23, G30SF and G45 but my G23 is different.

I love the Glock store. So much video information and great service. I didn't buy a gun there. I'm 12 miles from the Buds Lexington, KY gun store. It was my first and only weapon. I bought it and haven't fired it for over 2 years. shame on me, then I retired and met my new friend. I changed the spring, it makes a big difference. This Glock 23 is a gen 4. I put an XS big dot sight on it. Now I like it, very fast on target. That's bam and here you are. I put on a blacklisted barrel and a Johnny Glock trigger. I often dry shoot, you can see it when I go to the shooting range. There is a book called Shooting a Navy Seal by Chris Sajnog. I learned a lot about how to shoot. Chris Sajnog was a seal shooting instructor. Money well spent. you can't go wrong with this Glock 23. It does everything a pistol should do. Now you have to do your part and learn how to use it. I bought a Glock 31, which is a Sig 357 caliber with a magazine. I bought 2 more Sig 357 magazines from Gun Broker but the seller said they couldn't find the magazines so basically he went and bought (2) 40 caliber magazines and assured me they work for the 357 pistol. So I bought a 40 ACP barrel. So now I have a Sig 357 pistol and a .40 caliber ACP pistol with 3 magazines. So I bought a 9mm barrel conversion and (3) 9mm magazines, so from one gun purchase and a few extras I now have 3 guns of different calibers. GLOK RULES!!!!!! Next I am a 22LR conversion.

P 938 9mm, the trigger pull was just terrible and I personally wasn't very accurate with it. I also have a 2 sig p 238 w 380 auto again nice gun but not very accurate. The frame was also thin, so after 100 rounds of distance my hand was a bit tired. The Glock 27 is a better choice 1st is almost the same size as the p 938 so it's really compact. 2. it's 40 caliber, not 9mm, 3. the magazine holds 9+1 Vs 6+1 4. I can use my 15-round preloaded magazines at home, so I don't waste time reloading. First of all, this gun is very accurate at 7 yards, I can fire 15 shots in a 3 inch circle, plus 100 rounds without hand fatigue. I bought a Glock G 27 Gen 3.
